DESCRIPTION:The Umpqua Valley's Favorite Holiday Tradition\n\nNov. 21 - Jan. 1\nFor just $10 per car\, visitors enjoy 90 light displays containing nearly 500\,000 lights and all the traditional attractions that have made the Festival famous.\n\n\n\nSeveral special nights are scheduled throughout the season\, allowing thousands of people to see the attractions for free through special offers from our generous sponsors. The Festival of Lights also shares gate receipts with worthy local organizations like the Boys & Girls Club of the Umpqua Valley.\n\n \n\nThis year a special display is dedicated to the "Father of the Festival"\, Kerwin Doughton\, who passed away January 2021. 'Kerwin started the Festival of Lights\, organized it\, helped fund it\, and loved it for 28 years. He loved what the Festival meant to Douglas County\, but most of all\, he loved how the displays and music and happiness lit up the eyes and hearts of two generations of children far and wide.'
