Juni was the first woman to win the National Cowboy Museum's Wrangler Award in 2009 for her landmark CD\, Gone for Colorado\, which was also the 2009 WMA Album of the year. Her debut novel\, Girls From Centro\, was a 2019 Finalist for the WWW WILLA Award for Contemporary Fiction. Her songs have appeared in feature film and documentary sound tracks and have been recorded by artists in folk and western music circles.
