This trip includes all kayaking gear\, a professional guide\, and a boxed lunch. We ask that all participants have some previous kayaking experience. Please be prepared for a half-mile or more of kayaking and up to a half-mile of walking on uneven terrain as part of this trip. We will have lunch options available soon. This trip meets at the Wind River Boat Launch in Stevenson\, WA. Directions: Meet at 8 am. Meet us at the boat ramp at the end of Old Hatchery Road in Stevenson\, WA (about mile off of Highway 14). Look for the red truck with a bunch of kayaks. There is plenty of parking available. Included: Kayaks\, paddles\, life jackets\, dry bag\, splash jacket\, one bottle of water\, one granola/energy bar\, a professional kayak guide\, two Columbia Gorge Discovery Center educational guides\, and a parking permit. What to bring: Sunscreen\, sunglasses\, hat\, water bottle\, clothes that may get wet\, sandals/water shoes/shoes that can get wet\, a sun shirt would be an added benefit if you have one\, and a towel and change of clothes for after. Columbia Gorge Discovery Center guides do not need gratuity but we think the Hood River SUP and Kayak guides would appreciate gratuity for exceptional service.
