The contest itself is on Saturday\, June 21st\, but there is a whole weekend of celebrating sandcastles.\n\nOn Friday\, June 20th\, join the Sandcastle Committee at the open-house kick-off party\, where you can view decades of Sandcastle Posters\, buy your contest merch\, and more.\n\n\n\nOn Saturday\, June 21st\, head to the beach to try your shovel at building a sandcastle or watch the trained pros! Then join us in the evening for a bonfire and concert.\n\nOn Sunday\, June 22nd\, we will round out the weekend with the Singing Sands 5k Fun Run & Walk!
